VoIP hardware is developing fast - this is where you ask all those “how do I make my SIP Telephone, Adapter or Asterisk box work with my voip provider?” questions.

That's because the OBi110 wasn't registered to your FreePBX server, it was registered to a vestalink account.

Nope, make sure you click on the reboot button located in the top right after saving any changes on the OBi.

EDIT: Port status for 8080 is currently closed against your IP so you haven't correctly configured port forwarding on your router.

Can you dial out via extension 8?

EDIT: I just changed the incoming route back to ring ring group 0. Dial your landline and extensions 5,6,7 and 8 should now ring.

What dial plan do you have entered into the phone that is registered against extension 5?

Enter the following dial plan on phones registered against extension 1-4:
Code: Select all
You want to restrict all calls to just extension 8 on those. The above dial plan should do just that! Otherwise guests can just pick up the phone and make calls as and when they like.

Extension 5 and 8 should have:
Code: Select all
Unless you want extension 5 restricted to calling just extension 8?
