VoIP hardware is developing fast - this is where you ask all those “how do I make my SIP Telephone, Adapter or Asterisk box work with my voip provider?” questions.

Hi all,

Today my landline number got ported to sipgate. I have an iPhone app working, and also a corded test handset working via my Cisco SPA112 box. However, my BT DECT handsets don't seem to work and I get 'No Line' on the handset.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Do you have one of these connected to the Cisco box: https://www.broadbandbuyer.com/products ... r-rjp-bts/

You need the adapter, the Cisco stuff is configured for US hardware. The converter above makes uk phones compatible with the box. Without the adaptor some phones will work, others will not.
