VoIP hardware is developing fast - this is where you ask all those “how do I make my SIP Telephone, Adapter or Asterisk box work with my voip provider?” questions.

Hi All,

I've just got the above phone and it is working fine for voice.

However, when I try to access another company's voice conference system I can't use the number pad to enter the codes.
I can access the menu system of Voipfone's voicemail system.

I 've currently got the default settings of:
  • Automatic Negotiation of DTMF Transmission: No
  • Send Settings for DTMF Transmission: RFC 2833
I've tried other settings with no success. Has anybody had similar issues?

@snevellicci What codec is the phone configured to use? The reason I ask is because when using the G.722 codec (wideband connection), DTMF signals cannot be transmitted over audio. If the phone has been configured to use the G.722 codec, downgrade to G711(a) and it should start working.
