Hi all

I am having issues with some new Snom D315 and D375 phones. I am running the usual voipfone wizard at https://www.voipfone.co.uk/Snom_Setup_Wizard.php but when the phone reboots it is stuck in a loop with 'redirection Provisioning in progress'. This flashes up on the screen every few seconds and never goes away. The log indicates:

which appears to suggest that the phone is getting a 302 redirect to 'index.html', but it treats it as absolute rather than relative to the URI, so it tries to do a DNS lookup on index.html which of course fails. It loops on "Could not resolve host index.html" indefinitely.

Support have asked me to try downgrading the firmware to their supported version, which I did via tftp. It made no difference. The next step is to try these phones from a different Internet connection, but I will not be in a position to do that until the middle of next week at the earliest. I wondered if anyone on here had successfully used the wizard in the last few days and if it worked ok for them? I have used this plenty of times in the past on other clients Snom phones with no issues, even when the phones are running much later firmware than the version officially supported by voipfone.

Many thanks

Just tested this myself and it worked ok for me.

Tested on a Snom D375 running firmware version: snomD375-SIP 8.9.3.80

Thanks for trying. In that case, I've no idea what's going on, then. I delivered the phones to the client, factory reset them and then ran the wizard while onsite. This resulted in the same issue.
After another session with support, they have now said that there's a known issue provisioning the D375 and D315 handsets that I have and that they're working on sorting it. I have instead had to setup the 14 handsets manually :frowning2: Oh well.
