VoIP hardware is developing fast - this is where you ask all those “how do I make my SIP Telephone, Adapter or Asterisk box work with my voip provider?” questions.

Has anybody used a Zoom 5801 ATA with a 3CX PBX locally hosted with a UK TalkTalk landline?

I have got the VoIP trunk connection between the 3CX and the 5801 working fine but even with the VoIP > PSTN and PSTN > VoIP enabled when dialling from the 3CX side to the ATA it doesn’t auto answer and connect to the landline, the same goes for when there’s a incoming call on the landline the ATA doesn’t appear to recognise the incoming call and auto answer it and pass it onto the VoIP trunk.

Any suggestions on what parameters are needed to customise the ATA to UK PSTN settings rather than the default American parameters?
