I hope you can help me. I have a Cisco SPA504, several in fact and my voip provider told me the reason why we can't access IVR menus is because our phones need to be configured for use with DTMF RFC2833.

Our phones do not give an option for this? How can we get DTMF working?

Log in to the web GUI as the administrator, click on advanced then select the extension you have setup with the voip provider in question.

Scroll down and set the following:

DTMF Process AVT: Yes
DTMF Tx Method: AVT

Now save the changes by clicking on Submit All Changes.

AVT is RFC2833! :)
