We were thinking wouldn't it be great if when we added a new customer to our online store admin gui that at the same time it pushed their name and number into the phones directory.

Is there a way of doing this, be run php so a php script would be ideal ;)

The snom phones support LDAP. http://wiki.snom.com/LDAP This may work for you.

The snom phonebooks themselves only hold 100 enteries, this can be quite restricting if intigrating with customer databases.
