VoIP hardware is developing fast - this is where you ask all those “how do I make my SIP Telephone, Adapter or Asterisk box work with my voip provider?” questions.

I am trying to set up a quick key to redirect calls to another line, I have set a one of the 12 programmable keys to Key event F_Redirect:{the number here} but when I call my number with the redirect on (confirmed by the change on the screen to CFwd) it goes straight through to voice mail.

How do I prevent this?

Do you want the button to turn on / off 'permanent' forwarding to the other phone or do you want it to transfer a call that you've answered?

To set it to divert all calls until the button is pressed again set it to:
Code: Select all
F_REDIRECT:<NUMBER>
To set to divert an active call set it to:
Code: Select all
F_TRANSFER:<NUMBER>
In both cases the input in the phone must be in upper-case.

Hello Paul, Thank you for your response. Much app…

If you're experiencing issues making outgoing call…

Just leave all the files in the TFTP directory and…

VoIP on the move via wifi

Great! I have been looking for a similar solution.…
