VoIP hardware is developing fast - this is where you ask all those “how do I make my SIP Telephone, Adapter or Asterisk box work with my voip provider?” questions.

Hi Everyone,

Was wondering if anyone might be able to help. I've got to conduct a load test of a system and want to do this manually in a structured way.

My plan was to basically dial the speaking clock from a number of phones (176) and then leave this open for 15 mins to test the load and also the network traffic.

Problem is our system cuts off calls to the speaking clock after 3 mins which is going to kill my test.

So my question is this, does anyone know a similar number to dial that will leave the line open for 15 mins (i.e. an automated number or a test line) (Have also tried 17070, doesn't allow this from our switch obviously)

Many thanks all ...
