My Snom 370 has been working fine, but then suddenly today it has started bringing up the password prompt for login to main identity ?

If i press the tick button it acknowledges and carries on working fine, but then suddenly its back again

Any ideas ?

Please check the advanced page of your web interface, Under 'Behavior' set Challenge Response on Phone: No - That should stop that prompt displaying.

hmm this is weird

I can access the web console for the phone, but when i go to the Setup->Advanced section all the links at the top i.e.

Network Behavior Audio SIP/RTP QoS/Security Update

all of them just show a password login field titled Administrator Login

I enter my password and nothing happens

Anyone seen this before?

If I also go to Status->System Information I get the following:

SIP Identity Status:
Identity 1 Status: xxxxxxx200@sip.voipfone.net: Unauthorized
Identity 2 Status: xxxxxxx201@sip.voipfone.net: OK

I have xxxx'd out the credentials.

Enter 0000 and click save.

It's quite easy to accidentally turn off administrator mode - making the phone request the pass code.
