VoIP hardware is developing fast - this is where you ask all those “how do I make my SIP Telephone, Adapter or Asterisk box work with my voip provider?” questions.

Personally I dropped Cisco some time ago. Their equiptment isn't what it once was! :(

Saying that though they have revived the Linksys brand and have come up with this bad boy: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Linksys-WRT1900 ... B00IGL3L2E

Like the look, spec looks good too but are they just trying to make a buck by passing off their usual crap using the reputation of the former linksys brand? Im not willing to spend £200 to find out!

Bit of both, hardware was pretty poor quality, over heating, poor WiFi signal and buggy firmware to name a few things.

Maybe they have improved, maybe not either way I am happy with my ASUS AC68U for now. Cisco routers don't appear to be that popular any more and I wonder if that's the reason for the resurrection of the Linksys router above?
