These can be a real hurdle when setting up VoIP, help others by posting your configs, tips and tricks or simply ask others for help if you're stuck.

Hi folks,

first post on the site as I am baffled. I will be re-attending a site shortly to attempt install of a VOIP system again.

The site set-up is HiTron Router > Draytek Router > Switch > Phone.

Got the Draytek configured with the HiTron to provide an internet connection to all PC's and connected network points however as soon as you make a VOIP call from one of our handsets the entire system drops.

I'm not sure if one of the routers is resetting or theres a loop somewhere between the Draytek and Hitron that causes the system to drop. I believe I was reading about port 25 on a HiTron monitoring VOIP traffic and resetting the router if it had too many requests as it sees it as an attack on the router.

Any ideas as to why this is happening? Cheers!
