I finally decided to ditch the old router that gave me so many problems (no signal in the bathroom, no port forwarding without headaches), and decided that my money values less than my mental wellness. Therefore, I am now looking for a good router, so I've decided to come to you for recommendations. I've heard that Belkin and Cisco routers are really good. Is that true? If not, which ones would you recommend?

I live in Romania, in a medium-sized apartment, so I need a router available for purchase in Europe with fairly decent signal and speeds.
