I have just over 250 circuits in 15 countries linked to my Raspberry Pi running 'RasPBX' version of Asterisk/FreePBX. Not a high calling rate but it has coped for some years. Has no outgoing connection to the public network. Just a network connecting old preserved former GPO exchanges or just old rotary dialling telephones using the old national/local dialling codes of 40/50 years ago. London numbers are still 01 xxx xxxx and Leeds 0532 etc. Still have the old GPO 'Speaking Clock' of the 1960's on its old TIM or 8081 codes (still working on some PSTN numbers ! Try 01352 83 8081 or a more interesting one on 01330 55 8081 - both normal geographic phone numbers not BT 'Timeline' rates!
