Hi,

I am successfully using an asterix (trixbox), I have been looking at security and as such I removed my remote extension, I have also looked over the security recommendations issues by the trixbox.org wiki's. I am am only used to using windows based software and as such I set-up and control the system using the http interface.

I have been talking to a friend who was starting the have problems with hacked calls on a remote extension, he changed his system to 3cx.

Is the 3cx system good and is it complicated to secure?

Any reviews or comments I have seen on 3cx are good but these are on the 3cx website, so I take them with a pinch of salt.

From a security point of view I have seen both individuals and businesses using a range of PBX systems and devices suffering from breach and high cost calls made, including 3CX.

It's often not the software or hardware to blame but how it has been configured. Often very weak passwords are used and no firewall in place. Making it easy to be found and password breached.

Hello Paul, Thank you for your response. Much app…

If you're experiencing issues making outgoing call…

Just leave all the files in the TFTP directory and…

VoIP on the move via wifi

Great! I have been looking for a similar solution.…
