I have been struggling with this for most of the day! :-/

I have had my FREEPBX server up and running for some time now and as a result have thousands and thousands of records stored but there appears to be no way to clear them?

After googling it appears that they are stored in a database on the server but how do I safely clear any old records and only keep records from 2015 onwards?

You will need to SSH into your server...

Once in run the following commands:
Code: Select all
mysql
use asteriskcdrdb;
DELETE from cdr WHERE calldate < '2015-01-01 00:00:00';
Running the mysql command shown above may result in an error requiring that you login first. If so enter: mysql -u root -p and then press enter, enter the password for user root and once again press enter.

Your CDR should only hold records from 1st January 2015 onwards. :)

Hello Paul, Thank you for your response. Much app…

If you're experiencing issues making outgoing call…

Just leave all the files in the TFTP directory and…

VoIP on the move via wifi

Great! I have been looking for a similar solution.…
