A few days ago I became aware of the following two issues:
- Memberships taking longer than normal to self validate
- Missing or failed notifications
So, over the past 48 hours I have been hard at work trying to track down a cause and fix it! As a result of this work, I have had to purge the notifications table and resynchronise user groups. This might have resulted in an email being sent out informing some members that they have been added or removed from a group - I can confirm your accounts are in the correct groups and that these emails were sent in error. Sorry!
Hopefully both issues are now resolved but just in case they are not, I will keep an eye on things over the next couple of weeks.
