The following guide will help configure your Snom phone with your port5060.net account.
IMPORTANT: Before you start configuring the device, make sure your device has the latest firmware installed and preform a factory reset. Once you have done that, proceed...
To configure your Snom phone you'll need your port5060 SIP Proxy, Username, Password and STUN Server information. Don't know them?
Get them here: https://control.portfiftysixty.net/
For the purpose of this guide I am going to use the following dummy information:
Now that you have updated your devices firmware, factory reset it and have your Port5060.net account information to hand you need to login to the Snom's web GUI. To do this, simply open your browser of choice (e.g. Chrome) and enter the IP address of your Snom device in the URL field. If a password has been set you will be prompted to login as shown in the image below.
Now configure the device as shown below...
Identity 1 (Login Tab)
Click on the "Apply" button...
Identity 1 (NAT Tab)
Finally click on the "Apply" button. Your device will now register with your port5060.net account. Login to your Port5060.net account and confirm that the device status is showing "Online".
That's it! You have successfully configured your Snom IP Phone with Port5060.net. Now go make some calls!
