Below you will find the settings and their values required to optimise your phone for the Voipfone service when using firmware version 10.1.xx.xx.

Caveat:
  1. Voipfone recommend version 8.4.35 for Snom 3xx / D3x5 phones and version 8.7.5.44 for Snom 7xx / D7x0 phones.
    • While one can simply run the Voipfone setup wizard found here, there are some caveats. The phone should be running one of the older firmware versions recommended by Voipfone and their setup wizard prevents you making subsequent changes to some of the options within the phone’s GUI. Why is that a problem? Well, if you're using the phone with multiple SIP providers you may need to make a change or two to some of those settings that Voipfone have restricted. Doing it yourself and there will be no GUI advertisements, no configuration restrictions and your modified dial plan won't get deleted.
  2. I highly recommend that you jump to the Setup ---> Advanced ---> Update section located at the bottom of this post and apply those changes first. Failing to do this first may cause any changes you make along the way to revert back the their factory defaults.
