The Cisco SPA series includes a phone book that can be used to assist when dialling common numbers. To add phone numbers to the phone's directory please follow these steps:

Connect the device
  1. Connect the device to the power
  2. Connect an ethernet cable to the WAN or SW port of the device and connect the device to your network
  3. Ensure that there are no flashing red lights on the phone
Update the directory
  1. Press the button on the phone that looks like a page with a folded over corner
  2. Scroll down and select Network
  3. Note the IP address
  4. Open a web browser. Enter the following into your web browser, (replacing the IP address with the IP address noted above - i.e. the phone's IP address) e.g. http://192.168.1.100/pdir.htm
  5. Enter the phone number details in the format n=Name;p=number. For example to add an entry for Mr Smith, 099744530 you would enter n=Mr Smith;p=01210000000. You can use the attached spreadsheet to help you with entering and formatting these numbers.
  6. Click on Submit Changes
