If it's about VoIP, SIP or Internet Telephony but it doesn't seem to fit anywhere else, post it here.

It's been a while since Voipfone have confirmed what codec's they support on their hosted PBX network. As of today, I can confirm that Voipfone currently support the following CODEC's:
  • PCMA (G.711a or G711a)
  • G726-32
  • iLBC
  • GSM
  • speex
  • telephone-event
Make sure your device supports the codec you wish to use...

E.g. To set the correct codec priority on a snom telephone, navigate to "Identity 1 > RTP > Identity Settings: > Codec:", enter "pcma,g726-32,gsm,telephone-event" in the parameter field and click on the "Apply" button to save the changes.

Note: As Snom telephones don't support the iLBC or speex codec's offered by Voipfone, we don't need to include them in the list.
