If it's about VoIP, SIP or Internet Telephony but it doesn't seem to fit anywhere else, post it here.

Hi there,

I have a Cisco 7965 (thank you eBay) and was wondering if anyone else has set up one yet?

This is what my config file looks like so far:
Code: Select all

</ntp>
</ntps>
</dateTimeSetting>

You can download the latest SIP firmware (9.4(2)SR3) and all the required configuration files for the Cisco 7965 here.

Included in the zip file linked above:
  • apps45.9-4-2ES26.sbn
  • cnu45.9-4-2ES26.sbn
  • cvm45sip.9-4-2ES26.sbn
  • dialplan.xml
  • dsp45.9-4-2ES26.sbn
  • jar45sip.9-4-2ES26.sbn
  • load435.txt
  • load436.txt
  • SEP[MAC].cnf.xml
  • SIP45.9-4-2SR3-1S.loads
  • term45.default.loads
  • term65.default.loads
  • XMLDefault.cnf.xml
1. I recommend that you replace the dialplan.xml file included in the above download with this one.

2. Follow the simple instructions in the link above to apply your own sip credentials to the SEP[MAC].cnf.xml file.

3. Don't forget to rename the file with the MAC address of your Cisco 7965 IP phone.
