If it's about VoIP, SIP or Internet Telephony but it doesn't seem to fit anywhere else, post it here.

Hello all,

We are looking to change from our existing BT system and switch to a VOIP system. Voipfone looks to be most suited to what we want, but I have a question about using the same UK VOIP system from a permanent overseas office.

We are looking to set up a new office in North America, so is it a straight forward job to effectively move a couple of PCs and VOIP phones form this office in the UK to the USA and they will continue to work as part of our UK office telephone system, even though they will be on a different local network to the UK office?

Sorry if this has been asked a hundred times before, but I'm getting a bit word blind from scouring the internet on the subject!

Yes, that will work fine - it doesn't matter which network you plug into so long as it is broadband.

Hello Paul, Thank you for your response. Much app…

If you're experiencing issues making outgoing call…

Just leave all the files in the TFTP directory and…

VoIP on the move via wifi

Great! I have been looking for a similar solution.…
