If it's about VoIP, SIP or Internet Telephony but it doesn't seem to fit anywhere else, post it here.

Hi .

I am messing with a couple of raspberry Pi, which are running a open source version of the SAIL PBX system.
Problem was that I could never get two way communications with an IAX trunk. Just by messing around and googling I found an article that mentioned changing the trunk=yes to no and lo and behold it now works! What is the implication of making such a change, as of yet, and lots of searching I have not really found an answer.

Regards Drift

Perfectly safe, you're basically turning off trunk mode, see: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Aste ... width+iax2

You need to use the "trunk=no" line in your conf file when your provider uses a service such as load balancing. If you use "trunk=yes" then as you already found out, you will experience issues with one way audio.

Hello Paul, Thank you for your response. Much app…

If you're experiencing issues making outgoing call…

Just leave all the files in the TFTP directory and…

VoIP on the move via wifi

Great! I have been looking for a similar solution.…
