We have an office of 20 people using Snom 300 phones all on VoipFone.

I'm aware of the the 'conference room' feature that is available but was wondering the following:-
When a client has called us and is currently talking to an advisor, we want to be able to add other internal users to the call. How can this be done on the Snom 300 which doesn't have a 'conference' button?

Put another way, how do we connect to a call already in progress?

You have two options.

You can change one of your current function keys to be a conference key. For example, you can lose your 'mute' button and make this a button used for conferencing.

Or

The Snom 300 displays 'Conf. On' on the screen whenever the phone has one call in progress and one on hold. The tick key can be pressed to turn on the conference.

Just figured out how to set the Redial button as the conference key thanks to Snom's Wiki pages.

We have Snom phones here where I work too, I recall that at the beginning I was lost for a while because I needed to hit a button to dial after typing the number. :)
