  • Thawte CA G3 certificate authority support.
  • New parameter called “DeviceInfo.WAN.OpenSSLCiphers” to control the ciphers used for SSL connections.

  • Handle a URL used as DHCP Option 66 value instead of "servername."
Bug Fixes:
  • If the message body starts with a SPACE or TAB, the HTTPC client parse may consider it as LWS and lead to a download failure.

Firmware 4.0.3 (Build: 5659)
May 19, 2017

Features and Enhancements:
  • Replaced DigiCert SHA2 Secure Server CA certificate with DigiCert Global Root CA certificate.
Bug Fixes:
  • Even when current encode and decode format is already G711, the OBi device is unable to identify what current decoder format is being used, it sends a redundant re-INVITE to switch the codec to G711 when FAX tone is detected. Note: This issue does not occur if RTCP is enabled on the device.
  • The telephone-event RTP payload type does not change according to a peer re-INVITE. It stays at the original value established during original INVITE.
  • When sending Keep Alive messages to the proxy server, the device does not follow current TCP/TLS channel to be used for REGISTER.
  • LLDP: Update the Chassis ID, even if the IP address is not allocated using the network policy.
  • LLDP: Update the VLAN ID and Priority value according to the network policy specified by the switch, even if the “Tagged Flag” is not set.

Firmware 4.0.4 (Build: 5729)
October 13, 2017

Features and Enhancements:
  • Included Digital Signature Trust Co. Root CA X3
  • Added new Boolean parameter: X_DnsSrv (under ITSP Profile – SIP web page) to enable/disable DNS SRV lookup for Proxy Server or Outbound Proxy Server. By default, value is true.
  • Added new Boolean parameter: X_VerifyServerDomain (under ITSP Profile – SIP web page) to enable/disable verification of server domain against its certificate on a SSL/TLS connection. By default, value is false.
  • Added new parameter: DTMFPlaybackMethod (under PHONE Port web page) to control the rendering of RFC2833 digits. By default, value is Original.
Bug Fixes:
  • SIP over TCP/TLS message receive issue, where some SIP Message syntax may cause the message to be buffered by the device for a long period before processing it.
  • When sending SIP response over TCP/TLS, the rport and received parameters inserted by the phone in the TOP VIA header is incorrect.
  • When using SIP over TCP/TLS, the SendTo and RxFrom line in the SYSLOG messages may show a wrong peer address.
  • When server disconnects TCP connection with unit right after rejecting a SIP REGISTER, unit will quickly retry register and causes a rapid firing of REGISTER messages.
  • With ECM enabled, outgoing T.38 fax has some junk data at the end of partial pages, causing long faxes to fail with some T.38 gateways.
  • Long T.38 outgoing fax after 23551 packets.
  • SIP Publish (for final call statistics) retry on server challenge does not work and may lead to device crash.
