The Cisco SPA series includes a phone book that can be used to assist when dialling common numbers. To add phone numbers to the phone's directory please follow these steps:
Connect the device
Connect the device
- Connect the device to the power
- Connect an ethernet cable to the WAN or SW port of the device and connect the device to your network
- Ensure that there are no flashing red lights on the phone
- Press the button on the phone that looks like a page with a folded over corner
- Scroll down and select Network
- Note the IP address
- Open a web browser. Enter the following into your web browser, (replacing the IP address with the IP address noted above - i.e. the phone's IP address) e.g. http://192.168.1.100/pdir.htm
- Enter the phone number details in the format n=Name;p=number. For example to add an entry for Mr Smith, 099744530 you would enter n=Mr Smith;p=01210000000. You can use the attached spreadsheet to help you with entering and formatting these numbers.
- Click on Submit Changes
