On the screen of the phone it is saying: registration in progress it has been doing this for a while and I think I am stuk in a loop.



This is my phone 7841, I am trying to get SIP firmware on there through my Tftp server but it seems to be stuk in a loop this is the loop it is stuk in:

Hey @Alexander01 sorry for the late reply (I have been away)...

Looking at the log you posted above your phone is successfully connecting to the TFTP server and is downloading the XMLDefault.cnf.xml file, great! I'm guessing the contents of that file are incorrect though as the phone is not requesting any SIP firmware. Do you have all of the following files in your TFTP root directory?

If not, you can download them from here. Just scroll down to "CISCO 7941 & 7961 SERIES IP PHONES" and click on the "Download" button. There is a helpful installation guide there too!

Simply extract all the files in the downloaded ZIP file to the TFTP root directory, rename the file SEP[MAC].cnf.xml to include the MAC address of your phone and then reboot your phone. :ok_hand:
