tried that it works but approx 7 sec delay before I hear ring tone but could that be just how long it takes to route but probably not because if I dial my mobile and put # at the end it connects within 4 secs every time, remove hash and it takes 7 secs

I have emailed Mark with a link to this thread.

You could just put you mobile number in brackets as your dialplan to test. For example (1234567890)

There Is usually a longer delay hearing the ring ring when calling mobiles. If it is a routing issue doing the above will confirm this but seeing as the call connects quicker pressing the # key indicates a dialplan issue. Which is odd as it should be fine.

See what Mark thinks.

Ok, I am in front of my PC this morning and I thought I would take another look at this with fresh eyes... :shock:

In to my OBi1032 and tried calling an Irish mobile number and it works just fine.

It takes 2 seconds to match the number to the dialplan and start the call process as it should. I also tried dialling an 067xxxxxx number and that too successfully matched and processed the call within 2 seconds.

I was going to ask if you were correctly inserting the diaplan against the correct SPx but you must be if 067 numbers are working.

On another note... Change:
Physical Interfaces > PHONE Port > DigitMapLongTimer: 6

Numbers not matched to any dialplan string will now dial in 6 seconds instead of the default 10.

No it is the just the Irish Digimap taken from the Irish XML settings file as posted earlier. All I added to it was 06xxxxxxxS2 so that calls can be made to those 06 numbers of yours.

The map is 100% ok and working here. Like I said I tested it on the OBi1032 which has a screen so you can physically see what's happening.

I cant find this on DigitMapLongTimer on my obi-100 i can find physical interfaces phone port but that timer is not listed

Its not a major issue but 7-8secs is a long time if you count it out

If your voip provider is setup against that profile then yes. :)

I just put this dialplan WelshPaul @ Irish Digitmap into a OBi202 and dialled 0876123456 from a dect phone and within 2-3 seconds had my voip provider inform me the call couldn't be connected. Which is correct as it does not exist here in the UK and I didn't use any international prefix.

So the dialplan is working for me. I am stumped as to why it will not work for you! :*Bleep*:

I might see if I can get a hold of a OBi100/110 as these appear to be the ones that require the most support. Would be handy to have one to test at times like this.

I did drop Mark that email last night, maybe he will have an idea. I know he is very busy so not sure when he will get back with any advice but hopefully he will reply soon.

Just to let you know I had a Siemens Gigaset A580ip which is an Ip Dect phone and this was setup with my provider

I got OBI-100 and Siemens C620a dect phone as this phone had ability to block numbers etc so i presumed I was really only moving the IP part to OBI

I just now reconnected my Gigaset A580ip and let it register with my provider and then registered the C620a handsets to it as extra handsets

i then dialled my mobile and it connected immediatly so it would seem the delay is being caused by obi100 as my old ip phone works

How do you configure the OBi100? Via the OBiTALK portal or local web based GUI?

If you set up the OBi100 via the portal and you are now making the changes via the local web based GUI it could be the portal overwriting the changes and replacing the new dialplan with the old one.

If you're making the changes via the OBiTALK portal are you leaving enough time for the device to update?
